These are in place to keep your cat safe.
Grooming Policies
Please read the following policies for our grooming salon.
Your cat must have a current rabies vaccination. Cats are strongly advised to be on a flea preventative. *See flea policy below.
Cats must be contained in a carrier when entering the salon.
All new cats will have a temperament and physical assessment done while owner is on premises.
Services will be discussed and agreed upon by groomer and owner before the groom starts.
Services will be prioritized by need and what the cat is able to handle.
Cats will be in good health. If there are any health issues known, please share with the groomer at the initial contact.
There will be an additional fee for cats requiring special handling due to fragility of some senior cats, excessive stress behaviors such as extreme wiggliness, fear behaviors such as biting attempts, scratching or lunging.
Flea Policy: If live fleas are discovered during your cat's grooming appointment, a $45 flea treatment and sanitation fee will be applied to your invoice. This fee covers the additional time, cleaning and disinfecting required to protect all pets in our care as well as a Capstar pill to kill any live fleas on your cat.
There is no public restroom available at my salon. I am very close to a library, QT, and a variety of other places that offer public restrooms.
I love children with all my heart, but no young children will be allowed to stay during your cat's grooming session. My priority is your cat's wellbeing and I want them to be as calm as possible. Thank you for understanding!
To ensure the well-being of all feline guests, it is essential that cats are current on their rabies vaccine and are in good health. Upon arrival at the salon, each cat will undergo a temperament assessment to guarantee a successful groom. It is also important that all cats are transported in secure carriers to provide safety during their journey. Not all cats are willing participants for all services, we will work through the most important tasks first and go from there. I will always communicate with owners to ensure agreement of the grooming plan. I appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines, as they help us maintain a healthy and happy atmosphere for all our furry felines.
